'07 Subaru Forester

The 2007 Subaru Forester is a compact, sport utility vehicle. It is practical, safe and fun to drive and handles well in any weather.

New for 2007 are two more trim levels. It is also Sirius satellite radio-ready and has an auxilliary jack for handheld MP3 players.

The engine comes in two choices - the 2.5 liter, four cylinder 173 hp. or the 2.5 liter, four cylinder 224 hp. turbocharged.

The trim levels are the base, sports, premium package and the L.L. Bean . The base includes 26" steel wheels, a roof rack, air conditioning, a four-speaker CD stereo, full power accessories, keyless entry and wiper de-icer. The sports trim adds automatic climate control a MP3/WMA capable stereo with in-dash CD changer and auxilliary input jack. The premium trim gets alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, a sunroof, power driver's seat and front seat heaters. The L.L. Bean Edition gives leather upholstery and a dimming rear-view mirror.

ABS are standard on all models of the 2007 Subaru Forester. The active head restraints and front seat side airbags add much to the safety of this vehicle. The 2007 Subaru Forester is stable and predictable at all speeds.

'06 Subaru Forester

The 2006 Subaru Forester is one of the safest small SUV's you can buy. It handles like a car, with the characteristics of a SUV. It has high seating positions, good cargo space and off-road capability.

The 2006 Subaru Forester comes in two engine choices - the 2.5 four cylinder, 173 hp and the 2.5 four cylinder, 230 hp with a five speed manual or four speed automatic transmission with AWD. Standard in safety features are the ABS, active head restraints and side impact airbags.

It is available in three trims - the 2.5X, the 2.5X L.L. Bean Edition and the 2.5 XT Limited. The X comes with power windows, locks and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering, 16" wheels and tires, AM/FM/ weather band CD audio and remote keyless entry.

The Premium package gets rear disc brakes, a limited slip rear differential, alloy wheels, upgraded trim, power driver's seat, upgraded audio system, automatic climate control, heated seats and power moonroof.

The L.L. Bean Edition has 2-tone paint, leather and wood steering wheel and leather seats. The XL Limited models have leather interior, luminescent sport instruments, 7 speaker audio system and aluminum roof rails.
